So-Kyokushin UK

The "So" in So-Kyokushin means total, complete or ALL. We teach ALL methods and teachings of Sosai Oyama. We do not teach just competition kumite or kata. Sosai also taught a great deal of grappling, which we have introduced into the syllabus, as well as self-defence and a moral attitude approach to life.

These teachings are done through Hanshi Daigo Oishi, who was very loyal to Sosai and was one of his more successful Japanese Branch Chiefs.  As well as Shihan Cameron Quinn, who (although needs little introduction) was Sosai's personal interpreter for many, many years. 

It is the mission of So-Kyokushin members to learn and pass on these teachings to keep Sosai's Kyokushin alive and as strong as he would want it. OSU!
